  Ship Management

Due to an increasingly complex regulatory regime, more and more ship owners outsource the crewing and management of their fleets to professional ship management companies. These operations have emerged very strongly ever since the early 1970's.

Both its participants and external analysts see ship management as a growth industry. The trend continues upwards, just as the benchmark standards for the protection of the environment, the asset itself as well as the expectations for the employment and training of quality seafaring personnel, safety and security constantly move ahead for the entire shipping industry.

Since 1st January 2008 our former independent shipmanagement companies Dorchester Atlantic Marine, Eurasia, Hanseatic and Vorsetzen Bereederungs- und Schiffahrtskontor (VBSK) merged to one company: Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement.

Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement has established wholly-owned Service Delivery Centres and offices around the world that allow our Group to work as closely as possible our clients, both locally and globally.

Our international offices are a valuable resource to the Group and play a key part in delivering on our commitment to our clients.

It is our Group's priority to run our international offices within the company's framework of values and in line with our strict quality and safety standards, while at the same time ensuring that a dedicated and highly professional team manages the vessels assigned to our respective Service Delivery Centres and delivers full client satisfaction.
